Housing
The Cuan An Chláir development comprises 27 ‘own door’ houses to support independent living for the elderly and people with disabilities. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure home enabling our residents to live with dignity while maintaining and respecting their independence.

Stay Active!
We support interaction between our residents helping people to stay active and prevent loneliness and isolation. In addition to organised events which our residents can attend voluntarily we also have developed outdoor spaces for our residents comprising outdoor seating, a fairy fort, garden landscaping, a hen house and a polytunnel where residents can grow their own plants and vegetables.

Alzheimer’s Unit
Dedicated facilities providing high-quality support for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
We have partnered with the Alzheimer Society of Ireland, who helped set up the Alzheimer’s Unit and provide ongoing training for our carers, including all aspects of dementia awareness and support for families.
FACILITIES
Day Care Centre
The Day Care centre is operated by Clarecare. It is open Monday – Friday, offering a fun and friendly environment, morning tea/coffee and scones, followed by activities and a hot cooked lunch. Bus service is available, depending on location.
